Year 1 – Starting 31 July 2010
A point to point cycle ride from the furthest point East of England to the furthest West point
Lowestoft “Ness Point” to Lands End= 462 miles.
We will be passing through Cambridge, Luton, Oxford, Bath and Newquay (which we have timed to co-inside with Boarders Week for maximum exposure and where we will dedicate a whole day). We then arrive at Lands end a whole seven days after we started.
Day 1: Lowestoft Ness Point to Newmarket = 66.13 miles
Day 2: Newmarket to Milton Keynes = 62.95 miles
Day 3: Milton Keynes to Oxford = 41.25 miles
Day 4: Oxford to Bath = 71.03 miles
Day 5: Bath to Wellington = 60.63 miles
Day 6: Wellington to Launceston = 70.96 miles
Day 7: Launceston to Newquay = 45.01 miles
(Stop in Newquay for 1 day for promotion attending Vans Boarders week)
Day 8: Newquay to Lands End = 44.89 miles
